Racism and Health event brings together large audience at Georgia Tech
This public dialogue recently brought together two world-leading experts on the impact of racism on health: Camara Jones, President of the American Public Health Association and professor at Morehouse School of Medicine, and Jonathan Metzl, Professor of Sociology and Psychiatry and Director of the Center for Medicine, Health, and Society at Vanderbilt University. This picture provides a good impression of the "full house" for this event at Georgia Tech's Clary Theater. If you missed the event, check out Camara Jones' Tedx Talk (Allegories on race and racism) as well as Jonathan Metzl's thoughts on Structural Competency.
